Amazon Apollo
Where Every Floor Has a Sense of Place

PROJECT OVERVIEW
A Complete Ecosystem on Every Floor
Amazon Apollo is a 65,000-square-foot, three-floor workplace tenant improvement that reimagines the office as a complete ecosystem — one that supports focus, collaboration, learning, social connection, and movement throughout the day. Rather than relying on separate amenity floors, each level operates as a self-contained workplace, giving employees the ability to choose between social, collaborative, and focused settings without ever leaving their floor.

TWO ZONES, ONE FLOOR
Arriving from the elevator, employees are immediately oriented toward one of two distinct zones. One side opens onto a vibrant social hub — kitchenettes, bookable conference rooms, a study, and informal work settings that invite choice and movement. The other leads into team neighborhoods: quieter areas with dedicated rooms and scrum spaces that belong to each team, not the floor at large.
SOCIAL HUB
A Hub Built for Choice
The social side of each floor is designed for movement and informal connection — a mix of bookable rooms, lounge settings, and quiet nooks that let people choose how and where they gather.
TEAM NEIGHBORHOODS
Neighborhoods Defined by Screens
Team neighborhood zones are defined by custom-graphic screens that guide movement through the floor, protect team privacy from the corridor, and mark each neighborhood's entry. Printed on recycled acoustic material, the screens double as wayfinding devices and identity markers. Inside, small private rooms pair with open scrum areas anchored by whiteboards and soft seating, giving teams a full range of settings for private and collaborative work.
IN-HOUSE EGD
A Sense of Place, Floor by Floor
BA's in-house Experiential Graphic Design team designed the floor's acoustical panels to do more than absorb sound — they orient people within the building itself. Each floor carries its own theme — Waves, Mountains, and Clouds — so that moving between levels feels less like taking an elevator and more like ascending or descending through a landscape. The result is a subtle but constant sense of place: a wall doesn't just look good, it tells you where you are.
BIOPHILIC DESIGN
A Restorative, Nature-Inspired Workplace
The overall design language draws from natural materials, organic forms, dynamic light, and the principles of prospect and refuge. Planting is woven throughout as an active part of the spatial experience rather than decoration, while exposed ceilings and organically shaped acoustic baffles add height and softness without sacrificing acoustic performance.

RESULT
A Next-Generation Workplace, By Design
Through natural light, integrated planting, varied work settings, and clearly organized circulation, Amazon Apollo creates a workplace that supports collaboration, community, focus, and choice within a single cohesive, nature-inspired environment.
