About
This 8,000-square-foot ground-up community-based outpatient clinic serves veterans of the US Armed Forces. The clinic aims to bring healthcare closer to veterans, providing a range of outpatient services and reducing the need for long-distance travel. Within this small Montana community, the BA team strove to design an elevated space that honors the veterans who have served our country. The clinic's lobby features warm wood tones and natural daylight, providing a welcoming environment for visitors. Elegant architectural elements, such as composed facades and raised ceilings, imbue the space with a sense of spaciousness and enhance the patient experience. Understanding the unique needs of the veteran population was crucial in the design process, and the design team carefully selected biophilic design elements to avoid triggering symptoms of PTSD.
