PROJECT NARRATIVE
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center's new laboratory space was designed to support the evolving needs of scientific research while maintaining operational flexibility for current and future users, reinforcing its position within one of the Pacific Northwest's leading biomedical research environments.
The design focused on creating efficient, adaptable research environments that support collaboration, innovation, and day-to-day scientific operations. As with many projects completed for Fred Hutch, the work required careful coordination within an active research campus, balancing construction activities with the ongoing needs of researchers and staff.
The completed laboratory provides a high-performance environment built to enable groundbreaking research, giving scientists and staff a flexible foundation to support discovery for years to come.
