Same Initials, Bigger Story
For more than 40 years, Boulder Associates has been synonymous with thoughtful, community-centered design.
Our work has helped people heal faster, helped students focus, and helped communities come together. Over those decades we have grown well beyond our Colorado roots, spanning new offices, markets, and project types. We have reached an inflection point, and we decided our brand should reflect where we are going, not just where we have been.
We are updating our name. Boulder Associates is now BA.
By design, our firm bears no one’s name. Our legacy has never been about any single person, project, or place. It has always been the cumulative effect of every decision, every detail, and every team member who showed up and did right by each other and the communities we serve.
This is not a departure from that legacy. It is an expression of it.
We are updating our look.
This is more than a new logo or a fresh coat of paint.
Our old brand described us when "Boulder" still defined our geography and "Associates" described a smaller practice.
The new BA preserves the continuity and the initials our clients, partners, and alumni already know, while signaling something bigger: a practice that belongs everywhere we work and to everyone on our team. Same values. Same rigor. Same commitments. Now without boundaries.
What this means for you
For our clients, you will notice a new look, a new name, and a new home at ba-design.com. Behind all of it you will find the same firm, clearer about its purpose and more unified in how it pursues it.
The name may be different. The work never stops. Tomorrow we'll be back at it, doing what we've always done.
Every day, every decade, we are here to cause an effect.
